I am a recognised and award-winning artist with Master Degrees in both Fine and Creative Arts from Germany and Australia. In 2006, I received a scholarship by the DAAD to further my artistic career which took me to Perth, Western Australia.
Since then I have won the Vincent Prize, the Mosman Park Art Award, Peoples' Choice Prize at the Joondalup Invitation Art Award and was a finalist in the Black Swan Prize for Portraiture.
My work is held in private and state collections in Germany, China and Australia.
I challenge the limits of visual perceptions by significantly limiting the contrast in my work. The subtlety of the work requires the viewer´s persistence and contemplation until the motif gradually emerges.
